I am the first artist in residence for La Mancha. I am cleaning and redecorating the old caretaker’s cottage, attached to Spence Manor, where Tommy lived for many years. I am turning it into The Hermitage, a dwelling place for future artists in residence here in La Mancha.
I am just beginning this work and will post pictures here as I improve things.
The images below are from the day I moved in. The cottage has some furnishings, an odd collection of this and that.
SUMMER 2022 UPDATE
I have worked to create a nice spot for an artist to live and work. I’m looking for a large table for the working space. For now I’m using a temporary folding table.
